Being grateful is an important thing
to check in with yourself everyday.
Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and something lots of us forget to do is to think of things we are grateful/thankful for. There is so much to be grateful for! Remebering what you are grateful for will help your self-esteem and confindence level.
You might ask “How do I do this daily?”
I started by keeping a little journal of my own and write at least 3 things I am grateful for everyday. Some people might think this is going to be hard for themselves but it can be as simple as getting all green lights and not having to stop at the stop lights, your favorite song played on the radio or even if had your favorite lunch. All these little things that you are grateful for will equal up to realizing that you do have a life to be grateful for. You will appreciate yourself way more! I like to look to over my journal once in awhile of all the things I am grateful for and it makes me smile.
There are other ways you can do this too! When you realize something good is going on during your day just simply check in with yourself and say I am grateful this happened or I’m grateful for this. Once you start doing this, eventually you will just have a habit of doing it.
Hey! Why only be thankful/grateful during the month of November? Try doing this everyday and you will see results. If you do miss a day of doing it, oh well, just start up again today or tomorrow.
