With the holidays coming around it can be hard to stay from those luscious, mouth-watering sweets! I know from myself, who doesn't enjoy those little fun size candies! Thank God there is a way to eat sweets that are healthy. Grab so friends or family and get into the kitchen to try these recipes and have some fun! Maybe even play some Christmas music to get those hips busting and dropping to the floor :)

HAPPY EARLY THANKSGIVING!

CHOCOLATE BANANA FROZEN YOGURT BARK:

Ingredients:

-2 cups of yogurt (I prefer greek)

-2 tbsp honey

-4 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

-2 ripe bananas

Other things you will need:

-Bowl

-Spatula or mixer

-Parchment paper

-Fridge (to freeze)

Steps:

-Combine honey, yogurt, and cocoa powder together in bowl. Make sure to blend or mix well.

-Cut the banana into round bite sized slices.

-Pour out half of the mixture into a dish that is lined with parchment paper.

-Add a layer of banana on top over the mixture.

-Take the last of the mixture and spread it across the bananas and the bottom layer of the mixture and then top with bananas again.

-Freeze for 2-4 hours or if you would like overnight until hard/solid.

-Take out from freezer and cut with a sharp knife as the bark will be hard.

-Eat right away or put in freezer bag in the freezer. (Should last about 2-3 months)

-ENJOY!

PROTEIN COCONUT COOKIES:

Ingredients:

-1.5 cups of shredded coconut, feel free to add 2 cups instead

-¼ cup and 3 tbsp of maple syrup or honey (I like to do a little bit of both)

-½ cup of sunflower seeds

-½ cup of protein powder (I prefer vanilla)

-1 teaspoon vanilla

-1 teaspoon cinnamon

-Other things you can add: dark chocolate chips, shredded almonds or walnuts

Directions:

-Start up oven to 300 degrees F

-Try to cut up the sunflower seeds and coconut flakes (or other ingredients like shredded nutsor chocolate chips) in a blender until they are broken up or otherwise you will have big chunks in the cookies.

-Put all the ingredients into a bowl and mix together.

-Tip: if it seems like crumbly and hard to shape a ball form, add more honey or tablespoon of coconut oil.

-Take the mixture and form into balls.

-Set the balls on a non-greased baking sheet and press down.

-Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes.

FEEL FREE TO PUT A SCOOP OF WHIP CREAM ON TOP!
