There are many ways to pair spices up with your foods!

Spicing your foods chance enhance the dull foods to flavorful goodness! Using the right spices can have health benefits, like reducing the risk of cancer. Try some of these on your foods next time you cook!

Black pepper- carrots, potatoes, zucchini, fish, chicken, eggs, garlic, onion, basil

Cardamom- carrots, pumpkin, squash, chicken, duck, pork, cinnamon, clove, ginger

Cayenne pepper (One of my favorites)- tomatoes, eggplants, zucchini, legumes, fish, beef, cumin, paprika, cinnamon

Chili pepper- tomatoes, zucchini, squash, chicken, eggs, fish, garlic, onion, cumin

Cumin powder- eggplant, potatoes, tomatoes, legumes, beef, fish, garlic, ginger, cinnamon

Cloves- apples, beets, squash, lamb, pork, nuts, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger

Cinnamon- apples, carrots, pears, chicken, lamb, pork, clove, nutmeg, ginger,

Fennel seed- tomatoes, eggplant, zucchini, pork, beef, lamb, cayenne, basil, cumin

Ginger root, apples, squash, pumpkin, chicken, beef, peppers, basil, oregano

Turmeric (Another one of my favorites)- cauliflower, cabbage, potatoes, legumes, chicken, fish, cardamom, garlic, onion
